•Mitchell, Rho B., Albion: Rho B. Mitchell age 86, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 1, 2015. Rho was a NYS Licensed Funeral Director and owned and operated Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. in Albion & Holley, retiring in 1992 at which time the business was passed on to his son David and in 2012 his grandson Joshua joined the family business.
He was predeceased by his brother, Ward Mitchell; brother-in-law, Henry Spies. Rho is survived by his wife of 64 years, Beverly; 3 children, Michael Mitchell of FL., Patricia (Jane Hobson) Mitchell of Hilton, David Mitchell of Holley; 3 grandchildren, Joshua, Brian, Eric Mitchell; sister, Elsie Spies of Long Island, NY; sister-in-law, Marylou Mitchell of Horseheads, NY; several nieces, nephews, special cousin, Kate Mitchell.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue, Albion, Thursday from 4:00-8:00, where his Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11:00am.
