•Ponticello, Scott D., Irondequoit: Suddenly, Saturday, February 7, 2015 at age 46. Predeceased by his brother-in-law, James S. Montgomery. Survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Jaclyn Ponticello; his sons, Nicholas and Alec “A.J.” Ponticello; parents, David (Sandy) Ponticello; brothers, Todd (Melissa) Ponticello, Brian Ponticello; god parents, Richard Ponticello and Nancy Rienzo; mother and father-in-law, Mary Anne (Sherman) Montgomery; sisters-in-law, Judy (Sharry) Shekell and Laurie Montgomery; brother-in-law, John (Bernadette) Montgomery; god child, Colin Ponticello; longtime friend, Greg Nothhard; several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Scott was a Lineman with Rochester Gas and Electric for several years.
Friends may call Thursday (Feb 12th) 4-8 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 9:30 at St. Kateri Parish at Christ the King Church, 445 Kings Hwy S. Rochester. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Rochester Chapter, PO Box 368, Pittsford NY 14534 or the Ponticello Family Educational Fund c/o Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home in his memory.
