•Calabro, Joseph F.”Joe Cady”, Gates: Saturday, February 28, 2015, at age 93. Predeceased by his wife, Rose “Peggy” Calabro; son, Richard Calabro; sister, Angie Passalacqua. He is survived by his sons, David (Ann) Calabro of Avon, Joseph (Karen) Calabro; his grandchildren, David (Katie) Calabro, Peter (Karmin) Calabro, Gina (Stephanie) Calabro, Kara Calabro; great-grandchildren, Mylea, Conner and Dominick Calabro, Zoie Bowering; his sister, Phyllis Cerone; many nieces, nephews and friends. Joe was the band leader of the Joe Cady Orchestra for over 60 years, and an Army Veteran of WWII.
Friends may call TUESDAY from 3-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. Funeral services Wednesday, March 4, at 12:30PM in the funeral home. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Episcopal Church Home, 505 Mt. Hope Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620 in his memory.
