•Burlingame, David E., Churchville: Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on February 23, 2015 at age 74 at Strong Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Predeceased by his parents, Ray A. Burlingame, Sr. and Mildred (Wideman) Burlingame and siblings, Ronald, Robert, Wayne and Ray Burlingame, Joyce (Harold) Frisby, June (Norman) Horton, mother and father-in-law, Harry and Hazelteen Pimm, and sister-in-law, Frances Warren. David is survived by his wife of 55 years, Eleanor (Pimm), daughters, Debra (Randy) Bovee, Karen (Jay) Millspaugh, grandchildren Eric (Kristin) Bovee, Mark Bovee, Chad Bovee and Cody (fiancée Samantha Reed) Millspaugh and Kimberlie Pilat Bovee, great-grandchildren, Evan, Katelyn, Gabriella and Julia Bovee, sister and brother-in-laws, Dorothy Burlingame, Linda Burlingame, Elizabeth (Edward) Lievense, Harry (Elizabeth) Pimm and Viola (James) Batz, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
David enjoyed spending time at the family camp on Tug Hill. He loved stock car racing, snowmobiling, horses and warm winters with Eleanor at their 2nd home in NC. David will be greatly missed.
No prior calling. David’s Memorial Service will be celebrated Sunday, March 15th at the Union Congregational United Church of Christ, 14 N. Main Street, Churchville at 3:00 PM. Interment, Creekside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s name can be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.
