She is survived by her children, Dennis Springer and Kathleen (Frank) DiCesare; daughter-in-law, Susan Springer; grandchildren, Jason (Emily) DiCesare, Stacy (Shannon Daugherty) Springer; Brandon (Kristen) DiCesare, Michael (Renee) Springer, Cassandra DiCesare; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy (Dutch) Van Voorhis, Doloras Parker and Mary Ellen Richards.
Predeceased by her parents, Walter and Mildred McGuigan; brothers, Jerry and Bernard (Irene) McGuigan; sister, Phyllis (Michael) Palumbo; brothers-in-law, Dennis Parker and Frederick Richards.
Janet was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an entrepreneur and independent woman. She had a passion for gardening, flowers, and her family. Her loving, giving spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
Friends may call Monday, 4-7 PM at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.). A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, 9:30 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 534 Oxford St., Rochester, NY 14607. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd., Pittsford, NY 14534. Contributions in her memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association , 435 East Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.
