David B. Liese, Jr.
•Liese, David B. Jr., Churchville: Thursday April 9, 2015, we lost a wonderful, kind, caring and inspiring man. Residing in Churchville, NY previously Englewood, FL, David was born to David and Anna (Wusnick) Liese and raised in N. Chili, NY. He joined the US Air Force and served 1948-1952. He was the sole proprietor of the former Hilltop Custard, Towne Plaza, N. Chili where he served cones, sundaes and milk shakes from 1969-1999 to many friends and their families. He was the sole proprietor of the Town & Country Mobile Home Park, Churchville since 1985.
Predeceased by his brother, Carl, sister, Vivian Agosto, sister and brother-in-law, Audrey (Donald) Craig; son-in-law, David Caisse. Survived by his wife of 29 years, Joy Liese, sisters, Yvonne (George) Oliver, Colleen Boyack; daughters, Debby Caisse, Lori Bruton, Karen (Roger) Grape and Kathy (Phil) Scarlata; beloved grandchildren who referred to him as “Papa”, Kelly (Bruce) Rasmusson, Katelyn Caisse, Kevin and Joseph (Stefanie) Bruton, Christopher and Bethany Scarlata; treasured great-grandchildren, Brucie, Layla, Maggie and Jonathan; many cousins, nieces, nephews and treasured friends. His faithful companion and guardian Trixie. Special thanks to the devoted staff at Wilmot Cancer Center; special neighbors, Tricia and Steve Caldwell.
To those who knew him Dave will be remembered for the way he touched the lives of many with his generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor and positive outlook all the way to the end.
Friends may call at the Leo M. Bean & Sons Funeral Home, Monday 1-4 with Funeral Service to follow at 4pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dave’s name to Grace’s Garden at the Golisano Children’s Hospital of which he was a devoted contributor.
