•McGuire, Ruth M., Gates: 93, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, and at long last is at peace. Ruth was a long time member of several community organizations including: Gates Westgate Seniors Club, St. Helen’s Church, and its Alter Society and Widows Club.
She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Matthew McGuire. She is survived by her children; Barbara (Donald) Sherman, and Mark (Mary) McGuire; and her grandchildren; Kate, Matthew, Brett, and Lindsay.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, April 18th at 10:30 AM at St. Helen’s Church, 310 Hinchey Rd., Rochester, NY 14624. Light refreshments to follow. Donations may be made in Ruth’s memory to St. Helen’s Church.
