•Piazza, Samuel P., Gates: Wednesday May 6, 2015 at age 84. Predeceased by his parents, Peter and Mary Piazza and sister, Mary Rozzi “Honey”. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Eleanor; children, Kenneth (Brenda) of Honeoye Falls, Stephen (Rosana) of Orlando, FL. and Col. Thomas R. M.D. (Regina) of Lothian, MD; grandchildren, Christopher, Anthony, Laura, Stephanie, Anna, Elizabeth, Jack and Caroline; several nieces and nephews. Sam was a Korean War Veteran and owner of Siller’s Pharmacy on Thurston Rd. Sam was President of his senior class at Monroe High School, Class of 1948; graduate of the University of Buffalo Pharmacy School, Class of 1952 and Past President of the 19th Ward Business Association.
Friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home, Saturday 9:30-11:30AM. Funeral Mass to follow at 12Noon at St. Helen’s Church, 310 Hinchey Rd. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gates Volunteer Ambulance or St. Helen’s Church.
