•Christopher, Richard A., Sr., age 91 of S. Hulberton Road, died 6/3/2015 in the Martin Linsin Hospice Residence following a long illness.
He was born 4/14/1924 in Albion to Anthony and Jenny(Vanell)Christopher and was a lifetime resident of this area. Mr. Christopher was a member of St. Mary RC Church, a former member of the Knights of Columbus, and was a past Boy Scout Leader. Richard was a life-long Dairy Farmer and truly enjoyed his garden and taking care of his fruit trees. He could tell you anything about apples! He was especially fond of his dog, Daisy, whom he loved very much.
Mr. Christopher was predeceased by his wife Josephine, his sister Lillian Nenni and his niece Nancy Nenni. He is survived by his sons: Richard(Christine)Christopher Jr. of Rochester, Anthony(Shirley)Christopher of Holley, Robert(Karen)Christopher of Holley, his grandchildren: Kimberly Pohlig, Zoe Christopher, Aaron Christopher, Beth Roselli, Tamera Bolthouse, Mark Lingle, Glenn Lingle, his great grandchildren: Isabell, Geneva, Mattie as well as nephews: William and Michael Nenni.
There will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial SATURDAY JUNE 13th in St. Mary RC Church-Holley beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will following in Holy Cross Cemetery.
