•Birch, James A. “Toby”, Chili: Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Predeceased by his parents and sister, Jill. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Norma; 4 children, Patty (Tracy) Wooton, A. Paul (Irene) Birch, Sally (Gary) Payne and Ken (Lisa) Birch; 8 grandchildren, Sarah, Katie, Glen, Daniel, Ruth, Sam, Hayden and Jackson; brother, Jack (Phyllis) Birch; sister-in-law, Dorothy L. Fisher; nieces, nephews and cousins. We wish to thank all of the employees at Westwood Commons for their loving care of Toby.
Toby was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War, a retiree of Kodak and a longtime member of the Rochester Ultra Light Fun Flyers. He enjoyed cycling, fishing, bird watching, gardening and loved making raspberry jams. He was a very caring person and giving of his time and talents.
Friends are invited to his Memorial Service Friday, December 18th at 11AM at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home, 2771 Chili Ave. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
