•Duel, Ursula H., Hilton/Roch.: Jan. 28, 2016 at Williamsport Regional Medical Center. She was born Aug. 14, 1934 in Rochester. Daughter of Paul & Charlotte (Scholtz) Hering. Ursula retired as a Bus Driver from Hilton Central School. She spent years serving as an EMT, priding herself in being the 1st female member of the Hilton Ambulance Corps. She received the 1987 “Rookie of the Year” Award from the Rochester Crusaders where she was a member for many years.
Survived by her children, Kurt G. (Beth) Duel of Rochester, Lisa J. (Garry) Pentz of Montoursville, PA.; along with their father, Guy (Maryellen) Duel; granddaughter, Emma Pentz; several nieces and nephews; her “adopted” daughter, Stacey (Steve) Orlen and a special “grandson”, Joshua Cranmer. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Eva Nersinger.
Friends are invited to call SAT., Feb. 13th from 1-3 at the THOMAS E. BURGER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 735 East Ave., Hilton, where a Service will be held at 3PM after calling. Flowers gratefully declined.
