Ogden: May 24, 2016 at age 87. He is survived by his loving wife, Elsie Nichols; children, Cindy Franz, Pam Nichols; grandson, Timothy Franz; great grandson, Atlas Sallehy-Franz. Lewis “Bud” Nichols was a local builder/contractor. He was a Korean War Veteran and a member of the American Legion. In retirement he owned and operated the Canalside Inn B&B with his wife. He volunteered his time and expertise in renovating and relocating the Spencerport Trolley Depot and he was a father and friend to many. Family and friends are invited to attend Lewis’ memorial service on Thursday at 7 pm at Walker Brothers Funeral Home, 15 West Ave., Spencerport. Interment private.
