Brockport: On Friday May 27, 2016. Predeceased by her parents Anthony and Jennie Ciola, husband Stanley Mike Kappela and sister Annina M. Ciola. She is survived by her cousins Anthony DeCroce, Frederick (Debra) Kuhs, dear friends Brandi and Roger Reis, Mark and Judy Depferd, Linda Preston, Dolores Wood and Diane McCall. Marie was the former proprietor of the Brockport Colonial Inn.
There will be no prior calling hours. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday June 2, 2016 at 9:30 AM in Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 152 Main Street, Brockport. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to a charity of your choice or Lifetime Care Hospice.
