Wanda Jean (Disbrow) Roushey
N. Chili: Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was 78 years of age and died at Monroe Community Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband William H. Roushey Sr., her parents Reginald Disbrow and Evelyn (Osborn), and grandson Jason Andrew. She is survived by her daughter Beverly (Paul) Nemecek; sons William (Patty), Robert (Karen), Bradley, Brian (Valerie), 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; her sisters, Maxine Jaeger, Sandy (Norman) Koehler, brother Ron (Kate) Disbrow; several nieces and nephews. Wanda was a homemaker for several years before earning her teaching degree at Brockport State and working in the Rochester City School District. She was a member of Pearce Memorial Free Methodist Church and spent many years singing in the Redeeming Love quartet with her husband and Frank and Sylvia Hallenbeck. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Friends may call Friday, July 8 at 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Funeral Home 15 West Avenue, Spencerport. Funeral Service Saturday, July 9 at 11 am at Pearce Memorial Free Methodist Church, 4322 Buffalo Road, North Chili. Private Interment at North Chili Rural Cemetery.
