Spencerport: September 30, 2016, Joe died peacefully in his sleep at age 75. Predeceased by his brother, MSGR John Opalenick. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Opalenick; children, Terri (Ken) Opalenick, Lisa (John) Crane; grandchildren, Joseph Oakford, Allyson Crane, Adam Crane; sister, Mary (Edward) Fabrizio; brother, Peter (Jane) Opalenick; many nieces, nephews and friends. No prior visitation. All are invited to attend Joe’s funeral mass on Wednesday at 11 am at St. John the Evangelist Church of Spencerport, 55 Martha St. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave. Rochester, NY 14626 in Joe’s memory.
