Arnold R. Kuhn
Albion: Arnold R. Kuhn, affectionately known as “Jake”, passed away peacefully on Thursday, 10/27/2016, at the age of 79. He was born in Albion 9/5/1937, a son of Lloyd and Alma (Carlson) Kuhn and was a life-long resident of this area. Jake spent his entire professional career as a project manager for Keeler Construction Co, Inc. in heavy and highway construction. He was a private aviation enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Pine Hill Airport. Jake was a dear friend to many, and had a great love for life as well as a great sense of humor. Mr. Kuhn was predeceased by his parents and his brothers: Lloyd, Jr. and Clark. Jake is survived by his children: James of Rochester, David and John of Hoboken, NJ, Julia Wamp of Skaneateles, Sarah Daniels of Kailua, HI, the mother of his children: Mary Kuhn of Albion, 12 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter. Also surviving are his sisters: Mary Jane Marek, Lorraine Yungfleisch, sister-in-law: Gloria Kuhn, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion, TUESDAY from 10:30-11am, where Jake’s Funeral Service will begin at 11am following visitation. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to an organization of your choice.
