Hilton: November 17, 2016, age 79. Predeceased by his wife, Patricia; and 3 siblings, Marilyn Schickler, Barbara & Lawrence Blickwede. Survived by children, Kathleen (Jeffrey Gaudiosi) Kastner & Robert (Nicole) Blickwede; step-children, Beth Durand & Michele Durand; sister, Mary Castelein; sister-in-law, Beverly (Terry) Achter; his son-in-law, Scott Kastner; grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Danielle & Kayla; his step-grandchildren, Saffron, Sebastian, Danielle, Victoria & Joseph; several nieces & nephews.
After 2 ½ years, his bride Patricia called him to Happy Hour. George proudly served his country on an island 3000 miles away from San Francisco during the “great battle at Huntington.” George never met a stranger, so please come to read from the Book of George and ask for the special remembrance card.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the THOMAS E. BURGER FUNERAL HOME, 735 East Ave., Hilton. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at St. Leo the Great Church. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Wilmot Cancer Center donations.
