Predeceased by his father, Theadore Knapp and brother, Rick Knapp. Survived by his wife, Joanne Knapp; his children, Meagan (Chris) Miles, Ted (Elizabeth) Knapp; mother, Barbara (Gabriel) Borrelli; his step-mother, Norma Knapp; brother, Robert (Darlene) Knapp; sister, Marta Tyson; grandchildren, Maura & Alyssa Miles and Paul & Henry Knapp; brothers and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews.
