Ogden: Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at age 82. He was born on December 1, 1934 in Rochester to Grace and Rufus Pero. After graduating from high school, he married Diane Denman and went to work for Stromberg Carlson before starting his own business, Wood ‘n Things. George is preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Rufus Pero; his wife, Diane Denman Pero; his brothers and sisters, Bud, Herb, Emma, Bertha, Ella and Anna. He is survived by his sons, Scott (Dana) Pero and Kelley (Patti) Pero; grandchildren, Christopher, William, Jeremy (Elizabeth) and Cody (Morgan) Pero; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jayden, Skylar, Giordan and Camden Pero; daughter-in-law, Deborah (Richard) Goodwin. He also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home, Saturday 9am-11am. Funeral Service will be held at 11am at the Funeral Home with burial following at Grove Place Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association .
