Churchville: Beloved mother, grandmother and friend. At home with her family by her side, she faded peacefully and beautifully joining her husband in heaven on July 1, 2017 at age 91. She was loved by family and all who knew her. Heaven has another angel to spread love, peace, joy and positivity. Predeceased by her husband, Daniel J. Downes; son, Daniel R. Downes; 6 brothers; 3 sisters. She is survived by her children, Eileen (Steven) Ely, Bonnie (Paul) Gray, John Downes, Margie (John Olson) Downes; grandchildren, Daniel Downes, Manfred Gedeik, Denise Downes, Nathan Stockmaster; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Walter (Marie) Luke. Jane’s visitation will be on Friday July 7, 2017 from 4-7 pm at the funeral home, 21 S. Main St. Churchville. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday July 8 at 10:00 am at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 11 N. Main St. Churchville. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Spencerport.
