Chili – Friday, March 30, 2018. Survived by the love of her life of 61 years, George; children, John (Patricia Nowakowski) of MD, Mary Ellen (Kevin) Higgins of Rochester, James (Sheila Vaughan) of VA and Mark (Kerry) of Rochester; brother, Joseph (Barbara) Smyles of MI; grandchildren, nephew, nieces and dear friends. Ann attended Nazareth College and majored in mathematics. After receiving her degree, she worked at Eastman Kodak Company in the Optics Depart. where she worked on the Bridgehead Project. She left Kodak in 1960 to raise her family. She returned to work in 1980 at the Monroe County Department of Social Services in the Chronic Care Depart.
Friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home, Tuesday 3-6. Funeral Mass, Wednesday 9:30 AM at St. Pius Tenth Church, 3000 Chili Ave. Interment, St. Pius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Pius Tenth Re-building Fund or the Alzheimer’s Association in Ann’s memory.
