Brockport – Passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 15, 2018 at the age of 79. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy, son Robert Jr., and sister Helen Hensel. He is survived by his children Dennis, James (Gail), Donald, AnnMarie (Tom) Stenglein, and Michelle King, daughter-in-law Vicki, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, sister MaryAnne (John) McNeil, brothers Benedict and John (Julie), also many nieces and nephews.
Robert was a Past President for the NYS Fire Police Association, a member of the Brockport Fireman’s Exempts and a Volunteer Fireman for the Byron, S. Byron and Brockport Fire Departments.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Celebration of Life at the Byron Fire Hall, Main St., Byron, will be held on Saturday June 2, 2018 at 3 PM. A private interment will be held in Byron Cemetery.
