Chili – Despite his brave battle with “The C,” the Lord called Gary home on June 20 at age 63. He joins his dad, Harry, and sister, Debbie. He leaves behind his loving mom, Mary; his sisters Maryalice (Wade) Keller, Donna, Ann Marie (Dan) Kuntz; seven nephews and five great nephews; uncle, Dan Abbazia, aunt, Barbara Abbazia, cousins and friends, and his chubby little dog, Lelo.
Gary taught us to enjoy each day and to take time to do the things we love. He will be greatly missed and his memory will live on, especially when we listen to saxophones or ukuleles.
No prior calling. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 26, 10AM, St. Pius Church, 3010 Chili Avenue, Chili. Internment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
It was Gary’s wish that memorials be directed to Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester or Aurora House of Western Monroe County, 2495 S Union St., Spencerport.
