Chili – Surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at age 83. Predeceased by his daughter, Debra Politica; sister-in-law, Florence O’Neil; brothers-in-law, Sydney Fredricks and Andre Birchenough. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Frances; children, William Countryman and Patricia (Roger) Vonderahe; grandchildren, Lea, Valerie and Lauren Countryman, Dalaney, Grant and Conor Vonderahe; sister, Joyce Fredricks; sisters-in-law, Irene Mally and Dorothy Birchenough; brother-in-law, Michael (Kathy) O’Neil; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Gil was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, retiree of Taylor Instruments, a 50 year member of St. Pius Tenth Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
