Spencerport – Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the age of 82 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband of 38 years, James Thompson Stone. Helen is survived by her daughters Linda (Ray) Mongeon, Amy (Jonathan) Paris, and Lori (Jon Penna); grandchildren Alicia, Erin and Jaret Mongeon, Andy and Juliana Paris, Katie, Jackson and Ryan Penna; loving brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews, and a host of lifelong friends. Helen retired from Spencerport Central Schools where she worked as an aide for many years. She was also a long-time volunteer with Monroe County 4-H. Friends may call Thursday, November 15 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home, 15 West Ave., Spencerport. Her Memorial Service will be on Friday, November 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4301 Mt. Read Blvd., Greece. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wilmot Cancer Center, or the charity of your choice.
