North Chili – Jane Elizabeth (Ruth) Harriff of North Chili, NY went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by family and friends on November 2, 2018 at age 94. Jane was born on July 23, 1924, a twin daughter of Clara A. and Paul R. Ruth. Jane graduated with her Nursing Degree from Sharon General Hospital School of Nursing in Sharon, PA. She married Rev. Robert C. Harriff June 2, 1945. She is predeceased by husband of 54 years in 1999, her parents, her twin sister Jean R. Heath and nephew Craig D. Heath. Survived by her children, Rev. James (Suzi), Jack (Carole), Martha (Dale Mack), David (Gaila) and Mark (Tracey); 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Pastor’s wife, mother, nurse, choir member, avid bowler and reader, loved to play and win table games and a football fan. A special thanks to the staff at Westwood Commons for all of their love and special care for the past 5 1/2 years and especially the final 5 1/2 weeks.
A Memorial Service will be held at Edgewood Free Methodist Church, 250 Edgewood Ave., Rochester, NY on Saturday, December 1st at 2 PM. Memorial donations can be made to Lighthouse Christian Camp, 9574 Somerset Dr., Barker, NY 14012 in Jane’s memory.
