Rochester/Gates – Husband, father, uncle and dear friend, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2019 at age 88. Survived by Betty (Thuman), his wife of 62 years, and nephew, Ken Jr. of Horseheads, NY. Predeceased by son, John, Jr., and brothers, Kenneth and Mark. John was a USMC Korean War Veteran and a proud member of the VFW and American Legion. In 1985, he established AMD Business Brokers and operated the company until it was sold in 2014.
A celebratory Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019, 7:00 p.m., at Spiritus Christi Church, 121 North Fitzhugh Street, Rochester, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be sent to Grace of God Recovery House, c/o Spiritus Christi Church, 121 N. Fitzhugh Street, Rochester, NY 14614.
