Brockport – Agnes T. Monks, age 85, passed way unexpectedly on January 21, 2019. She was born February 13, 1933 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Agnes married the love of her life, John “Jack” Monks on September 26, 1956 in Scotland and moved to the United States with Jack and her 4 sons on December 21, 1968. She enjoyed knitting, and spending time with her family and friends.
Agnes was predeceased by her husband Jack in 2005, siblings, Sarah, Maria, James, Sonny and John.
Agnes is survived by her sons, Brian (Jeannette), John Anthony Corr (Mary), Stephen (Kathy, David (Shari), grandchildren, Jaclyn, John (Sarita), Laura, Jennifer, Natalie, Andrew, Emily, 9 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Route 31, Holley, NY 14470 on Saturday, January 26th from 10:00am-12:00pm where her funeral service will be held immediately following at 12:00pm. Interment will be held in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester.
