Gates – Peacefully on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the age of 94. Predeceased by her husband, Arthur, in August, 2018. They were married for 75 years. Survived by her 2 sons, Jim (Kathy) of Spencerport and Randy (Carroll Grant) of Fayetteville, NY; daughter, Linda (Steve) Stewart of Pittsford; grandchildren, Doug (Heather) Case, Michelle (Mike) Abraham, Betsey Patterson, Ryan (Jeanne), Sarah, Jillian, Carrellyn, Scott (Patty) and Heather Stewart; 9 great-grandchildren; and many loving relatives.
A Celebration of Life for Florence will be held (TODAY), Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 4PM at the Rochester Presbyterian Home, 256 Thurston Rd., Rochester, NY 14619. The family would like donations to be made to the Rochester Presbyterian Home for the compassionate care that Arthur and Florence received during their time at the home.
