Brockport – Passed away peacefully on July 9, 2019 at the age of 83. He is survived by his children Valerie (Robert) Way, Jason Winnick and Paul Rushanski, grandchildren Kayla and Ryan Way, sister Mary Cyganovich. He was predeceased by his brother Stanley Winnick.
Joseph was a Distinguished Service Professor at the College of Brockport, State University of New York for over 50 years. He was a sports enthusiast and an avid muscian, playing both piano and acordian.
Family will receive friends on Friday July 12 (TODAY) from 6-8 PM at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc. 340 West Ave., Brockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday July 13 at 10 AM at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 152 Main St., Brockport. Interment will be follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Owego, NY at 3 PM.
