Clifton – Peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at age 85. Predeceased by his siblings, Jim Nothnagle, Mary (Jim) Graves, and Richard Nothnagle. Survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Carol; children, Robert Jr. (Catherine), Thomas (Polly), Donna Nothnagle (Ernie Baker), Timothy (Anne), Terrence, Sharon (Scott) Scharping, Douglas (Margaret), and Dennis (Tamara); 24 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Delores Christiansen, Patricia Lootens, Elizabeth Nothnagle, William (Ann), Barbara (William) Fantauzzo and Clare Wade; brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Bob was the founder of Nothnagle Enterprises Inc., which was a drilling and blasting business. He was an avid golfer, world traveler, long time member of St. Pius Tenth Church and volunteer for several organizations for people in need. Bob had a passion for cooking, but most of all, enjoyed spending his time with family. The family would like to thank the 5th Floor staff at St. John’s Home, Reservoir Bldg.
Friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home Monday 4-7PM. Funeral Mass Tuesday 9:30AM at St. Pius Tenth Church, 3000 Chili Avenue. Private interment Maplewood Cemetery, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John’s Home or St. Pius Tenth Church.
