Chili – On Easter Morning, April 12, 2020 at age 98.
Predeceased by her husband William S. Head and her sister Stella Campbell.
Survived by son David (Diane) Head and daughter Christine (Richard) Stewart, granddaughters Sarah (David) Velmont and Sheila (John) Roache, great-grandchildren Benjamin Velmont, Stella Roache, John Roache III, and Julie Velmont, nieces Judith Harrigan and Martha Jane Blumenstock, and close friends.
Martha was born in LeRoy and lived the rest of her life in Rochester. She graduated from West High School, Rochester Business Institute, and Syracuse University. She was an active member of Presbyterian churches, Brook-Lea Country Club, and the Genesee Country Museum. Her love of God, for family, music, nature, and a good card game inspired us all.
Her family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Green House Cottage 2 at the Jewish Home of Rochester for all their loving care and to Lifetime Care’s Hospice Services for their compassion.
