Churchville – On May 9, 2020 just shy of her 100th birthday, Lucy passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 73 years, Albert. Lucy will be dearly missed by her children, Albert (Catherine) Cucurullo, Don Cucurullo and Janice (Thomas) Armstrong. Grandchildren, Denise (David) Cox, Jill Cucurullo, Brian Van Steen, Heather (David) Graham, Robyn (Gerry) O’Brien, Katie Armstrong, Michael (Christina) Armstrong, Elaine (Bryan) Barth and Jill Armstrong. Great grandchildren, Rebecca, Emily, David, Jamie, Justin, Aidyn, Aubrey, Emma, Anna and Thomas. She also leaves behind her sister Millie Calabro, nine special nieces and nephews, Rosemary, Jerry, John, goddaughter Cathy, Phyllis, Anne, Fred, Louise, Marie and her dearest friend Amy Costello.
Lucy was born into a large close-knit family in Elmsford, NY. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Lucy owned her own business, coached basketball and was an active member of Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne. She was a fun loving and joyous person who excelled at sports. Lucy was an accomplished golfer, making three holes-in-one and winning multiple club championships in both NY & FL. Lucy will be missed by all who knew her.
