Gates – Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at age 70. Predeceased by his parents, Ed and Mary. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Rosemary “Rosie”; children, Brigette (Mike) Tidwell and Beth (Michael) Prince; grandchildren, Hailey and Jason Tidwell, Hannah and Owen Prince; sisters, Patty Holley, Barbara (Terry) O’Reilly, Judy (Paul) Sirus and Jackie Santiago; many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Ed was a retiree of the DMV. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed watching sports and loved playing cards with his family.
Friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home Monday 4-7PM. (Please wear a mask) Funeral Mass Tuesday 10AM at St. Pius Tenth Church, 3000 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gates Fire Dept.
