redeceased by his parents. And son Derek L. Hoffman (2013). Survived by wife, Linda (McPhall) Hoffman. Step Son Bryan (Brie Ellingwood) Havens, grandchildren Bryan Havens Jr. and Morgan Ellingwood of Clearwater Florida. And a few Aunts and Uncles as well as cousins and brother and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
erry was a loyal and loving man to his family and friends. A very proud Marine who served in Vietnam, and worked at Safeway in Colorado 18 years, and Tops Friendly Market in NY for 28 years where he finally retired for the last time in June 2018. He always had a smile and cheerful hello.
remation has already taken place and his urn will remain with wife Linda. A Memorial Service will take place at St. John Lutheran Church at a later date. And a reception will be held at the VFW in Hamlin also at a later date. A military foot stone will be placed at Highland Park Cemetery in Alexandria Bay, NY next spring. Friends and family are invited to donate to the Hamlin VFW Post 6703, 1739 Lake Rd., Hamlin, NY 14464 where Jerry was a previous post commander and enjoyed all the camaraderie.
