Dawn was born in Albion on October 27, 1951 to Guy Gibson DuSett Jr and Dotty Q. DuSett. She was married to James Donohue of Batavia, NY.
Survived by children, Johnathon Wellington & Genessa Evenstar-Dawn; sister, Danna Lin DuSett & Kim Torrance Bannister; bro-Guy III; nieces: Ra’Ann, Summer, Kelly, Toya, Amie, Danielle, Jessica and nephews: Jeremy, Joe and David; grand-nephews & nieces: Nathan, Jordan, Autumn, Steven Guy, Davien, Lana, Baylee, Amara, Adyn, Charles, Aria, Johnny, Sky,Torrance. Also her best friends-the Sandy’s.
Dawn graduated from Holley High in ’69. She attended GCC and SUNY Brockport. She worked at Kodak as a Central Scrutinizer and retired in 2008. She was a member of UCUCC, Churchville where she enjoyed playing bells and being a member of the workgroup. She loved living near Churchville Park and walking everywhere with friends and globetrotting with her daughter. She passed away peacefully in Johns Island, SC on November 24, 2020 at the age of 69.
A Celebration of life is being planned in the spring of 2021 in Churchville. In lieu of flowers, she requested donations be sent to “UCUCC Workgroup” 14 N Main St, Churchville, NY 14428. We are creating a memory book and would welcome any pictures or memories. genessa.donohue@gmail.com.
