Rochester – Ann S. Raetz, age 86, died on December 16, 2020, in Richmond, VA. She was predeceased by her husband William H. Raetz.
She is survived by her children, Susan Duke and Ronald Raetz (Helen) both of Richmond, VA, William F. Raetz (Sharon) of Bel Air, MD, and Lisa Lennox (Michael) of Rochester. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, Laura and Nathan Duke, Meredith, Eric, and Neil Raetz, Melissa Raetz Osgood, Austin and Emily Raetz, and Erin and Adam Lennox; and 5 great grandchildren, Collin, Harlow, Emerson, Lucas and Henry. She also leaves her brother, Gerard Scheidt (JoAnn) as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Mrs. Raetz was born in Rochester and resided in the area until June of this year. Growing up she attended Holy Family Catholic School, was active in its church, and graduated from Mercy High School in 1951. She lived in Chili from 1958 until 2006 and was a member of St. Pius X Church for over 60 years.
Due to COVID restrictions, the service will be private. Interment St Pius X Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Camp Good Days and Special Times.
