Rochester – Tuesday January 5, 2021 at age 93. Peacefully, surrounded by family. Predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Caroline Berger, loving wife of 69 years, Martha and son, Paul Berger. Survived by his brother, Frank Berger; children, Carol (Charles) Core & Glenn (Tricia) Berger; grandchildren, Michael (Amanda) Cicatelli, Caitlynn ( Nathan ) Daniels & Brandon Berger; great-grandchildren, Dominic & Antonio Cicatelli; and several nieces & nephews.
George was a WWII Navy Veteran, a retiree of Rochester Tel and Wegmans and volunteered for the Special Olympics.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Legacy at Maiden Park for the excellent and loving care that he received. With a special thank you to his special friends Jaime, Monica, Howdoo and Lisa.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hall, 1612 Buffalo Road, Rochester 14624.
