Hilton – John “Speedy” Lankowsky (12/4/1956 – 2/6/2021), 64, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2021 at Unity Hospital after a long courageous battle with COVID. He was predeceased by his father, Anton Lankowsky. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Pam [Adams] Lankowsky; daughter, Jennifer Lankowsky; mother, Barbara Lankowsky; siblings, Zenon (Carol) and Paul “Chip” (Michelle) Lankowsky, Judy [Lankowsky] (Walt) Steele; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Edward & Madeline Adams; brother-in-law, George Zielinski; sister-in-law, Debbie Zielinski; many nieces & nephews; his wonderful BFF, Danny Philmon; and his dear friends from Flower City Tissue Mills.
Friends are invited to call, following CDC guidelines, on Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m. at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Ave. in Hilton. John’s Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Leo the Great Church in Hilton. Interment White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford.
