Riga – Born: July 23, 1944. Died: February 26, 2021. Survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Dwight Rogers; children, Susan (John) Squires, Sharon (Paul) Tanner, Sarah (Rob) Brutovski, Tim (Catherine) Rogers and Esther (Gene) Baker; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Anna, Margaret, Abigail and Joel Squires, Trevor Tanner, Liliana, Evelyn and Benjamin Brutovski, Titus, Alathia, Jude and Zoe Rogers; sisters, Charleen Zimmer and Joan Zimmer; cousin-sister, Janet Breen; sisters and brother-in-law, Joyce and Bill Gifford and Sherri Rogers; other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Nada was a dedicated Christian, loving nurse, compassionate caregiver and beloved grandmother. Her commitment to teenagers through 50 years of Bible Quizzing Ministry impacted children and teens across the country. She was an avid gardener, TOPS leader and founding board member of the Sunset House.
Visitation was observed March 4 at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home. Her memorial service will be Saturday, March 27 at 2PM at the Calvary Assembly of God Church, 3429 Chili Ave., Rochester.
