Gates – Sunday, May 23, 2021 at age 95. Predeceased by her husband, Charles. Survived by her children, Pamela (Burns) Allison, Debra (Curt) Amesbury and James Allison; grandchildren, Laura Ferris, Shelly (Alex) Braun, Christopher (Erin), Matthew (Vanessa), Adam (Heather) and Brian (Sarah) Amesbury; great-grandchildren, Myah, Aiden, Silas, William, Violet, Maggie, Chris, Evie, Allie, Luca, Dante, Emilia, Madison, Layla, Trevor, Westen, Max and Lucy; brother, Albert Dreas; brother-in-law, George Howard; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a graduate of the Genesee Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1947 and a longtime active member of St. Helen’s Church.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the Unity Hospital staff of Units 3200 and 4400 for their loving care.
Friends are invited to her Funeral Mass Thursday 10AM at Parish of the Holy Family Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. Rochester, NY 14606. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church or Unity Hospital. (Palliative Care or Hospice Unit)
