Spencerport – Susan Elizabeth Chamberlain passed peacefully with family by her side on June 8th, 2021 at the age of 73.
Susan is predeceased by her son; Nathan Chamberlain; parents, Robert and Monica Schmelz. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, William Chamberlain; daughters Rebecca Shapley and Caroline (Rick) White; grandchildren Sarah, Cailyn, Aidan, Justin, Benjamin, Lucas and Helena; siblings Christopher Schmelz, Mark Schmelz and Mary Anne O’Leary; nieces and nephews Stephen, Victoria, Amy, Katherine, Nichole and Daniel.
Susan was a fierce advocate for all children in this world. Her dedicated passion as Director at both the RMSC and Lewis Street Center. She was a wonderful and generous loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved all unconditionally. Susan was an admirer of God’s nature who created works of beauty through her artistry.
Friends and family may visit Friday 3-7PM at the funeral home, 15 West Ave., Spencerport, NY. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 1PM at St. John the Evangelist, 55 Martha St., Spencerport, NY. Interment to follow at St. John Cemetery.
