June married John Killigrew on September 5, 1953 in Hammond, Indiana. She moved to Brockport, NY in 1962 with her husband and four children when John accepted a faculty position at SUNY Brockport.

June was active in her local Catholic parish, Nativity BVM in Brockport including being on the faculty of the parish Faith Formation, a member of the parish choir, cantor for weekend and holy day masses, and a member of the Shawl Ministry, a group that knits shawls for shut-ins and hospitalized parishioners.

June was always eager to travel. She visited Mexico, Italy, China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and various Caribbean Islands. The highlight of her travels was taking the Trans-Siberian railroad from Beijing to Moscow and continuing on to London by rail and ferry.

Her warm smile and sweet disposition will be missed by her family and many friends.
