The Villages, Florida: David L. Lavery died Monday, August 9, 2021. Pre-deceased by parents Ruth and Leo; sisters and brother, Mary Ellen, Jack and Nancy; wife, Mary Jane; son-in-law Bob Greenblatt. Survived by wife, Charlotte; son, John (Cheryl); daughter, Mary Greenblatt (Craig King); grandchildren, Michael, Meghan and Brendan; step-children, Melissa (Scott) Cunningham, Mark Richardson and Jessica Sheets; step-grandchildren, Amanda, Kevin, Kayla, Hillary, Ryan, Mackenzie, Christopher and Lindsay; brother-in-law, Erle (Rita) Jackson; nephew, Tim Jackson; niece, Susan (Gary) Irvine.
Dave retired from Westside News in 2005. He was a proud Korean War veteran and former resident of Chili for 41 years.
