Hilton – October 1, 2021, age 80. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary; his children, Deborah (Rory) Patrie, Daniel (Renee) Crowley, and Douglas (Emily) Crowley; his grandchildren Pamela (Tom) Elias, Rory (Grace) Patrie, Stephen, Michael & Danielle, and Lila & Calla Crowley; and his great-grandchildren Emma & Eric Elias. Bob was one of eight children of the late John and Fernand Crowley and is survived by siblings Nancy Huttlinger, Eileen Magin, John (Nancy) Crowley, and Ruth Burgart. He is pre-deceased by Tom (Velma) and David (Cindy) Crowley, Pat (John) Hoppe, and Don Magin. He is also survived by brother and sister-in-law Robert & Kathy Mirguet and many nieces and nephews. There were three things Bob loved most in life: his wife & family, his friends – he never went anywhere without making a new friend — and work. You seldom saw him without his orange hard hat. People always asked if he wore it to bed.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday from 3-7 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Ave. Hilton. Bob’s funeral Mass will take place Thursday at 11:30am at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Rd. Internment will be held at the convenience of the family. Flowers gratefully declined.
