Betty Ann Cooper Roberts, age 85, of Lexington, NC and formerly of Hilton, NY, passed away peacefully October 13, 2021, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born May 23, 1936 in Hilton, New York the daughter of the late Milo Cooper and Barbara Fleming Cooper. She is also preceded in death by her brother Ronald Cooper. Betty was a person of faith, enjoyed gardening, horses and crafting, loved her family deeply and will be missed by all. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years, Carl Edward Roberts as well as her children, Curt (Nancy) Roberts and Greg Roberts and Teri (David) Simons; grandchildren Hunter, Jessyca, Danny (Kayla), Stacie (Joe), Kelsey, Kalen, Jake, and Haley; great-grandchildren Esme, Caiden and Sabrina.
A casual gathering of friends and family to celebrate Betty’s life will be held on November 6th at 3pm at 293 Peck Road in Hilton, NY. Please bring a lawn chair. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty’s memory can be made to Becks Reformed Church: 2845 Becks Church Road in Lexington, NC (27292) or Parma Greece United Church of Christ: 1211 Manitou Road, Hilton, NY (14468).
