Greece – Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at age 74. Predeceased by his parents, Philip and Yolanda; and several aunts and uncles. Survived by the love of his life, Marlene; daughter, Beth (Josh) Hernandez; step-children, Aaron Thompson, Kelly Lysenko, Michael Savino, Dani (Larry) Savino-Nelson and Leigh Savino; granddaughter, Abby; step-grandchildren, Molly, Maddi, Joshua, Alex, Max, Emily and Levi; sister, Denise Nowak; niece, Ashley (Brian) Briggs; nephew, Brandon Nowak; aunts, Rita Barone and Rosalie Barone; and many cousins and dear friends.
Robert served in the US Army for 3 years, was a retiree from GM, an advocate of Fathers’ Rights, and an Officer of Equal Rights for Fathers of NYS for over 40 years. He was also a past member of United Commercial Travelers of America and was in the American Legion and V.F.W.
Friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home Monday 4-7pm. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10:30am at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Rochester, NY 14612. (The family requests that all visitors wear a mask) Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Golisano Children’s Hospital.
