Scottsville, NY – William Hooker peacefully ended his 85 year journey on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Rochester, NY. William was born on April 7, 1936 to Catherine and Roy Hooker. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Don Hooker. William was the loving husband for 64 years of Joyce and father of Amy (Ron) Anderson and Alton (Cris) Hooker. He had 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and also leaves behind many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and friends. Bill was a Korean War Navy veteran, a member of the Scottsville Lions Club, the American Legion, O-At-Ka Lodge #0759 and the Scottsville Fire Department.
There will be a private graveside ceremony at Oatka Cemetery, Scottsville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice. We will always cherish his love and he will forever be missed.
