Gates – Monday, January 4, 2022 at age 91. Predeceased by his parents, Enrico and Mary Mezzoprete; and brother, Louis (Lucy) Mezzoprete. Survived by his wife, Linda; children, David (Laurel), Lynn (Scott) Bass, Eric (Caroline) and Daniel (Lisa); grandchildren, Julia, Claire, Stephen, Erik, Matthew, Megan, Joshua and Hannah; brothers-in-law, Keith (Pat) Ashby and Bruce (Mary) Ashby; and loyal friend, Jim Schiano.
Chuck will be remembered by all for his loving nature and good will to everyone. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the care staff at Wolk Manor.
Private service and interment was held at the convenience of the family. A celebration of Chuck’s life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Veterans Outreach, 447 South Ave. Rochester, NY 14620.
