Chili – Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at age 98. Eleanor was born in Buffalo, NY to parents, Jan and Maryann Noworyta. She was one of seven children. Eleanor worked retail and, during WWII, was a Junior Engineer for Curtis Wright. In 1945 she married Frank Kozlowski and moved to Rochester, NY. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Kozlowski; son, Tom Kozlowski; numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff at Strong Memorial Hospital, especially to the Sussman Palliative Care Unit, for the compassion and care given to Eleanor.
Family and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass Wednesday 10:30am at St. Pius Tenth Church, 3000 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Pius Tenth Church.
